FACT:
Post on the GBJC are generally referenced with links to public documents, website articles/posts/pages and other public sources to ensure that facts remain facts and to avoid discussions being based upon hearsay, political bias or suppressed by judo politicians and their “mates”.
(See post about Paul Ajala’s false accusations and threats.
The GB Judo Underground FaceBook group.

FACT:
When publishing that the BJA Chair, Ronnie Saez, has been unanimously re-elected as BJA Chair by the BJA Directors at the BJA board meeting, 21 June 2021, it is linked to the published BJA Board Meeting minutes where this is stated.
All currently available BJA Board meeting minutes are listed with links to the BJA website.
FACT:
FACT:
At the BJA Board meeting, BJA Board meeting 16 February 2021, the issue of “redacting” previously published meeting minute content was raised by the then BJA Director, Malgorzata Grzyb (MG).
(See post about Malgorzata Grzyb resignation as a BJA directors but 55 days later, still voting for BJA Chair, Ronnie Saez, to remain BJA chair for another 4 years.)
FACT:
Redacting is NOT deleting and removing content after publication without reference to this action.
Deleting facts & content after it has been made public is more commonly known as “disappearing”, “re-writing history” or simply; censorship!
Redacting is most commonly used to remove information but allowing the reader to know that content has been made unavailable to them.
An example would be when proving that BJA Director Claire Lish used her FaceBook profile “Lishy Loo” when commenting publicly, as a BJA Director on BJA policy and practises, on the BJA FaceBook page earlier this year.
The identity of the person Claire Lish (“Lishy Loo”) was interacting with has been redacted.
That Claire Lish has since deactivated one or more of her FaceBook profiles, deleted comments or is making incorrect claims in the GB Judo Underground FaceBook group (aka the JUG) DOES not change history or facts!
(You can find her false claims she made in the GB Judo Underground FaceBook group, unless the discussion thread had “disappeared” since she posted it using another FaceBook profile “Mumma Lish”.)
FACT:
Neither BJA Director Claire Lish nor the newly elected BJA Director, Paul Ajala, have acknowledged their false accusations nor publicly apoligised for making them. Despite the evidence having been published and sent to Claire Lish via the BJA.
Whether their posts have been “disappeared” in the GB Judo Underground FaceBook group?
A member of the group did share the GBJC post about the BJA Chair, Ronnie Saez, being re-elected.
The post “disappeared” shortly afterwards!
FACT:
FACT!
If you wish to discuss any judo matter without fear of being bullied, threatened or comments, discussions and even members being “dissapeared” from the group without a trace?
There is only one FaceBook group that allows this and has transparent governance and moderation where actions are published to the members.
In the past 11 months, only 2 members have been removed from the group due to their behaviour and breaching group rules!
Their comments and discussion threads still remain and the action to remove them was publicised and discussed by the group members!
(See group announcements)
You can of course also be a member of The JUG (GB Judo Underground) at the same time whereas vice versa may be an issue?
That is up to the JUG administrators and moderators that are mostly heavily involved within BJA structures/funding or for some odd reason, BJJ persons?
(See list of GB Judo Underground FaceBook group administraors and Moderators)
…………or not?
It is your life, your judo, your decision!
The deleted section from the previous BJA Board meeting, held 22 December 2020.
If you are unfamilar with the “Athlete Investigation” and events after the BJA Board meeting, 22 December 2020.
The BJA was required to NOT apply the normal BJA procedures of appointing a panel consisting of BJA Board members to decide in this particular case.
UKSport requested the panel be independent due to the nature and content of the complaint.
When the BJA later released a “short statement” about the panel’s conclusion, 21 April 2021.
In the statement the BJA stated the conclusion was made:
The phrase “fully independent”, not just “independent”, is a peculiar choice considering that one of the 3 disciplinary panel members is:
A very close friend of Loretta Cusack-Doyle, BJA Director, present at both the BJA board meetings and kept informed of the Fulcrum Solicitors investigating the complaint.
A friend of Peter Blewett, BJA Director & Chair of BJA London. Present at both Board meetings and kept informed of the Fulcrum Solicitor’s investigation.
A friend of the person interviewed for 8 hours by Fulcrum Solicitors.
The daughter of the head of the BJA Sport Directorate, Colin McIvor.
Mr McIvor being member of the BJA Senior Leadership Team that can receive payments, known as “Remunerations”, if approved by the BJA remuneration committee consisitng of the BJA Chair, Ronnie Saez, the BJA CEO, Andrew Scoular and 2 Independent BJA Directors.
It should be noted that in the BJA accounts, presented and approved by 32 BJA clubs at the BJA AGM November 2020, remuneration payments ammounted to £429,160. (Up 25% from the previous financial year.)
These payments were made to BJA Directors and the 6 members of the BJA Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
The BJA has been asked who the 6 members of the BJA SLT are but have not responded.
Should items and references in GBJC posts linked to BJA content no longer work? Copies of published documents have been retained due to the BJA Board’s practise of deleting content.
As the BJA Chair, Ronnie Saez, stated at the BJA Board meeting when discussing “redaction”:
Upon Ronnie Saez requesting approval to delete the content?
Andrew Haffner proposed approval, seconded by Graham Campbell.
The Content was deleted without any reference made in the BJA document as to this action taken nor a reason why.
Are judo ethics important when it comes to governance, transparency, accountability, finances, democracy and how membership, grading and affiliation fees are spent?
If you wish to verify any of the above content?
Including Athena Witter and Diana Hunter that according to the recruitment agency would receive no salary but would receive remuneration & have their expenses covered.
