The GBJC initiatives have in a short period of time become hugely successful with the judo community with over 160,000 website views in only 2 years.
This has increased the expenses with maiontaining the website and keep dveleoping & improving it!
With no funding or financial backing, we need to cover out expenses. As cheaply as possible for ourself and our members.
As an example of how we keep our expenses low?
The GBJC membership & the GBJC Newsletter software that we use are the “Free” version software available.
We happily share skills and knowledge with clubs & volunteers in the GBJC group should they want to implement a Newsletter for example.
Join the GBJC group – find out more and ask questions!
Another GBJC success story is the GB Judo Event FaceBook group!
It has become the largest Judo Event group in the UK in a short period of time.
It is public and open to all judo associaton events along with those not listed by these.
Masterclasses, courses, camps, randori sessions, social events, etc.
Join the GB Judo Event group and share events WITH the group or FROM the group!

GBJC has no paid staff, doesn’t fiddle payments to anybody by sneaky means, has no international relations budget, pays no remuneration and we don’t cover travel or accomendation expenses for anybody! We have no offices and everybody
While we do keep costs down by initially using free software such as the PMP membership & Mailerlite newsletter software. supporting the GBJC initiartives work from home.
Running a website does require expenses for hosting services, storage, essential software, licenses, etc.
That is fine!
And understandable since most are already paying their association through membership, affiliation, events and grading fees along with some associations receiving million of pounds every year in public funding.
The GBJC website quickly made the initiative information available to the judo community so grassroots judo clubs could sign up and benefit from the free inititive.
Go to the exclusive GBJC page to sign up to the initiative, see the map of judo clubs already signed up.
And maybe read the information that some don’t want you to know about?!
Updated since British Judo has been forced to promote this initiative due to the judo community going ahead without them.
