In Germany there is a judo club league with 2 division for men and 1 for women.
Germany has 120,000 judo members and currently ranked as a judo nation by the IJF as #7.
Britain has an estimated 40,000 judo members in total (all associations included) despite British Judo claiming to have 50,000 members and a total of 100,000 judo members in the UK (all associations).
Along with other dubious statements such as the BJA App, “DOJO-2”, roll out, completion, etc.
British Judo Strategy 2022-2025
Britain is currently ranked #17 as a judo nation by the IJF.
British Judo Marketing and communications department are known to have performed many “judo unethical” actions, including censoring and banning members from their FaceBook page when commenting about safeguarding.
13 December 2023, a British Judo website post was published
Initially password protected but then “disappeared” from the British Judo website and resulting in a #404 error. (Webpage not found)
NOTE:
Many grassroots judo members, clubs and coaches mistake British Judo as being similar in structure and operations to their own situation.
Operating on a shoe-string budget by unpaid volunteers.

European Club Championships 2023
British Judo (BJA Ltd)
No coverage on the website or social media platforms despite Lucy Renshall GBR competing for the PSG Team (Paris St German) that won women’s Gold.
If British Judo (BJA Ltd) shows no interest in this competition and publishes nothing about it.
Is there any reason why British Press should cover the event and the achievement by one of Britain’s top judoka?
