The British Judo Chair, Ronnie Saez, stated:
This is not the first time the British Judo Chair and Board Directors have worked closely with Lisa Allan.
In fact, they cooperated closely in rigging a disciplinary panel in an internal British bullying complaint.
……….and later claimed in a public statement that the decision to reject the complaint was made by “….a fully independent disciplinary panel.”.

Who is Lisa Allan? Integrity or not?
Lisa Allan is running in the IJF (International Judo Federation) elections to become the IJF General Secretary, 4th May 2023 – Doha.
As with all politicians, election promises are easy to make but what British Judo, Lisa Allan and others would prefer you not to know about.
Is her participation in a disciplinary panel ruling on an internal bullying complaint against among others, one of Lisa Alan’s friend.
British Judo stated that the decision, not to uphold the complaint, was made by:
“………….a fully independent disciplinary panel. “
What is the truth, was the panel “fully independent”& what are Lisa Allan’s “judo values”?
Lisa Allan’s obvious conflict of interests, close personal relationships with many BJA Directors and senior management persons did not stop her from participating in the socalled: “…..fully independent disciplinary panel.”
No details have been make public as to any payments or expenseas Lisa Allan or her father, Colin McIvor, may have received for her participation in this panel.
In the BJA’s annual accounts, 2020-2021, remuneration payments went up by 6% despite the impact of Covid on Judo membership in England falling by 60%!
Total remuneration payments to BJA Directors & Senior management: £455,000.
Note; after the accounts were approved at the AGM, the following year the figure had been altered to £380,000 in the annual accounts.

How much integrity did Lisa Allan demonstrate when she participated as a member of a disciplinary panel ruling on an internal British Judo bullying complaint?
Upon the panel rejecting the complaint, British Judo published a short public statement and press release, claiming the decision was made by a “………….fully independent disciplinary panel.“
Despite Lisa Allan’s many conflicts of interests as a panel member due to:
Her father being the then BJA Sports Director, the department under which the internal complaint related to!
Being friends with one of the persons the bullying complaint was made against.
Her close friendship with many British Judo Directors and senior management staff.

They have also been supplied with the evidence that by no stretch of the imagination can Lisa Allan’s membership of the disciplinary panel be considered to be independent and without any conflict of interest in the internal British Judo bully complaint’s outcome!
British Judo has recently refused to process a complaint, within their own complaint’s policy, about Lisa Allan’s participation in the case stating:
The complaint you refer to was dealt with in consultation with UK sport who approved the investigation panel and signed off the report.
Leaving the big integrity question:
Was UKSport informed of Lisa Allan’s many connections within British Judo when presented with the disciplinary panel as being independent?
