Food and Drinks with the BJA!

During the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, British Judo invites all of our judo family to the Judo House, just a 10-minute walk* from the Coventry Arena, for food and drinks in between judo sessions from 1-3 August

How to watch the judo?

The BBC has the TV rights to the full 2022 Commonwealth Games TV coverage.  

TV coverage outside the UK & if there is live streaming from the judo competition is currently unknown.

During the three-day judo competition at Coventry Arena, there will be an opportunity for you to get on the mat, meet our athletes and speak to our British Judo engagement team.
There will be giveaways for both existing and new British Judo members, so don’t forget to pop by and speak to our team!
We will also be attending several neighbourhood festival sites across the West Midlands in the lead up to the Games.

IMPORTANT!!!

🅿️ Parking

  • On-site Parking – There are usually 2,000 parking spaces available at the stadium, which can be pre-booked on an event-by-event basis, but these will not be available during the Commonwealth Games.
  • On-street Parking – You are not allowed to park your car within 2 km of the venue due to a strict residents’ parking scheme.
  • Off-site Parking – A small number of off-site car parks are available nearby, including a couple of public car parks on Longford Road, located a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the Arena. These car parks are small, however, so it is worth arriving early if you intend to use them.
  • Disabled Parking – There are limited dedicated parking spaces, with further information on how to pre-book these expected to be announced closer to the Games.
