It is strongly advised you familiarise yourself with how British Judo manages safeguarding issues and are prepared to make false public statements about such. 

The article includes information about BJA Eastern area committee’s involvement with one safeguarding case that is directly connected to all BJA affiliated clubs now requiring a CWO (Club Welfare Officer) to be in place before their BJA club affiliation agreement renewal, March/April 2023.     

Despite the requirement to have a competition safeguarding officer, no such person is listed in the organiser’s pdf.

Safelandings is an official document that outlines child protection policies and procedures for British Judo and all of it’s home nations: JudoScotland, Northern Ireland Judo Federation and Welsh Judo.
Safelandings should be used as an initial point of reference for clubs and individuals regarding child protection matters.
