BJA Covid update 9th December 2021:
COVID GUIDELINES AHEAD OF THE BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS – UPDATED 9TH DECEMBER
Concerns and quetions should be addressed with the BJA Safeguarding department or the Even Competition Controller!
Updated 20/12/2021:
BJA [Safeguarding] considers it irrelevant whether their Covid statement, 16th December, is about the known positive test case on Saturday 11th December by a BJA person officiating at the Championships, or a new positive test case relating to the weekend.
“Providing all of the individuals who have tested positive have reported their positive test to Test and Trace, this agency will complete all of the follow up enquiries.”
“…. [BJA safeguarding] therefore don’t believe it will make a difference if it is a new case or the same one, because Test and Trace will complete the necessary investigation and contact the event organisers and those believed to have had contact with the infected individual.”

Updated 16/12/2021 PM:
It would appears a second positive case has been reported to the BJA since the event finished! See update above 20/12/2021
